I have gone thru this entire list of SonicWall troubleshooting (except resetting the router) I have also setup a Lease Scope not tied to an interface with Interface Pre-Populate unchecked & tried it each way. I have setup a DHCP Lease Scope specific to the interface connected to the server. I have a network wire running from one of the NICs on my remote server to a SonicWall interface (I can connect via VPN & remote in as long as I manually set the IP address on my VPN Network Configuration). This may be slightly more complicated - I don't want this VPN to have access to my entire network as I'm only using it for a Terminal Server. In the DHCP area I have a lease range setup for the range I want. I'm fairly certain all of my SonicWall settings in the VPN area is correct (DHCP or Manual Configuration selected etc) Let me start off by saying that I love the fact that I have some students that are capable of thinking outside the box and learning to do these things but my administration is on me to restrict their access to curb time wasting, etc.For students, they are.I've setup a VPN with the Global VPN Client successfully & can configure with a static IP address. Based on posts from above, I just disabled IPv6 on wired network adapter and while it hasn't resolved the download speed issue I hope it will prevent future blue screens. Even after disabling the GVC, download speeds never get higher than 8.61 Mbps only a fresh restart will restore the 17+Mbps rate. Also, I noticed that after a Windows restart, my wired download speed is approximately 17.58 / 4.14Mbps (home network) but after initially enabling GVC, the download speed is more than halved at 7.31Mbps. I experienced more blue screens with Firefox and Chrome (latest versions) and less with Internet Explorer although IE crashed a lot, at least it didn't always blue screen. I have experienced BAD_POOL_HEADER, IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and DRIVER_POWERSTTE_FAILURE blue screens. I have had the same issue for several months on a brand new Windows 7 HP Envy laptop and after many blue screens am finally arriving at this conclusion that it's most likely the Global VPN Client (even latest version for me at the time, 4.). ![]() I'm considering getting a new laptop, but I cannot believe I woudl have to DO that just because one stupid program throws a BSOD. The ONLY way I can connect to my VPN at work is through this client and it has left me completely dead in the water and bleeding money from falling behind in my work. After spending all day reinstalling and patching and installing just my core apps (FF, chrome, addons, etc), I installed Sonicwall Global VPN Client. After hours of trying to figure out the problem I finally resorted to backing up all my data, formatting my hard drive and starting over with a fresh copy of Windows 7 Pro 圆4. I ran registry cleaners and memory tests and did everything I could possibly think of. I uninstalled the VPN client and reinstalled the latest version. I updated my DNE files, NIC drivers, and removed every other non-essential service from my startup. A few days ago, with no warning, every time the Sonicwall global VPN client loaded, it BSOD'd (first one was IRQ_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL, but all subsequent ones have been BAD_POOL_HEADER).
